White Pines Community Co, doing business as White Pines Co, is an Illinois nonprofit corporation and 501(c)(3) public charity based in Fox River Grove, Illinois, in McHenry County.
Our mission
To promote men's mental health and wellness through community programming, peer support, digital tools including the Phoenix app, education, and advocacy. We work to reduce the stigma that keeps men from asking for help, and to build resilience, recovery, and growth in men and boys.
Our name
Our legal name is White Pines Community Co. When we incorporated, the name "White Pines Co" was not available with the Illinois Secretary of State, so we registered as White Pines Community Co. We operate publicly as White Pines Co and White Pines, and whitepinesco.com is our official and only website.
Why white pines?
The eastern white pine can live for centuries. The people who plant one never sit in its full shade. That's the whole idea: do the work now, for the men who come after us.
